Educational + Entertainment = Edutainment

Shortly after my arrival in Toronto in 1994, I joined Innotech Multimedia Corp. (now ASTAware Technologies, Inc).  Back in those days, the company specialized in children's edutainment CD-ROM titles, among other things, which is where my artistic skills came in handy...

A mouse is a mouse is a mouse...

I own a digital graphics tablet.  It comes with a cordless pen, which makes free-hand drawing and painting incredibly easy.  Still, I would trade the luxury of the Undo button for the spontaneity of real watercolour blotches and the feeling of real paper under my hand - almost any time!

Photoshopping around...

When I do give in to the digital temptation, I like to experiment with graphics programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.   The result is various compositions based on my photography or line art.
